Dămfīno is excited to host a summer workshop at The Barred Owl Retreat (88 Marshall Street, Leicester MA 01543) on August 6 & 7, 2016, led by Ilya Kaminsky. This workshop will be limited to 15 registrants.
Registration Fee: $300.00 (includes light refreshments and lunch)
If there are less than 10 participants, this workshop will be cancelled.
“We will talk about various ways poets learn from other poets, across times, traditions, geographical boundaries. How do they borrow from each others’ works, and what can we learn from that for our own writing? The class will be divided into two parts: conversation about craft, and conversation about our own work. Everyone in the group will get feedback on their own writing as well as many new ideas for revision and for future poems.”
